Easy Ways to Look Thinner By Tonight

1. SHOW SOME SKIN UP TOP

Expose a bit with a V-neckline. The open, upside-down triangle creates a high focal point up and away from your midsection and gives the illusion of a longer, slimmer upper body. The more skin displayed between chin and chest (within reason!), the more elegant your proportions will seem overall; wider V-necklines visually balance broad hips and thighs. So collect Vs in everything-camis, tanks, Ts, sweaters, cardigans, dresses and jackets.

2. WEAR SKINNY HEELS WITH POINTY TOES

Legs look slim and sexy in skirts paired with a shoe that has a tapered toe and at least a 2-inch stiletto. A slender toe and thin heel work to extend the narrow silhouette of calves. Square-toe styles with a thick, chunky heel give the appearance of a shorter, bulky leg.

The Top 10 Trends from New York Fashion Week Spring 2017.

The spring trends are in from New York Fashion Week’s Spring 2017 shows, and we’ve got a good idea of what we’ll be wearing in the coming season—once we finally come out the other side of the cold weather, that is.

While many brands experimented with a “see-now-buy-now” format this season—Tom Ford, Thakoon, Rebecca Minkoff, and Ralph Lauren among them—the vast majority still did things the old-fashioned way, giving us a chance to preview their wares six months before they land in stores. Some of the trends that dominated 2016—off-the-shoulder styles, Vetements-style hoodies—are still kicking, but weren’t nearly as ubiquitous this time around. That said, there will still be plenty of bare clavicles, thanks to slouchy, one-shoulder pieces and a wave of skimpy bra tops, and athleisure’s influence still reigned at brands with sportswear in their DNA, such as DKNY, Lacoste, and Alexander Wang.

Of course most professions require efforts, but the fast-paced world of fashion is an entirely different kind of success that most can’t dream of coping. 1. PERSONALITY

Here is the part where you take a deep breath, step back and evaluate yourself and your willingness to crawl to the top of the ladder, because that’s what it’s going to take. The world of fashion is reserved for only the most dedicated and creative visionaries on the planet, leaving no room at the top for the mediocre. It’s important to be able to grab the bull by the horns and take initiative because nothing in this line of work will be handed to you, making the fruit of your labors so much sweeter in the end. Keep in mind that graduates rarely start designing immediately after school, so it’s also important to ensure you can handle a career with countless highs and lows.
